
As a UX leader, I’ve built a career spanning information technology, higher education, and most recently, healthcare. My background blends design execution, research strategy, and accessibility leadership, all shaped by my academic foundation in Communications and Digital Media – Interactive Design.
During my six years in the university environment, I developed into a versatile UX professional, honing skills in site mapping, wireframing, prototyping, user research, data storytelling, and user interface design. My leadership journey began when I spearheaded a robust UX research presence, culminating in the creation of the Digital Experience Program — a UX student apprenticeship initiative with up to 20 participants per semester. I mentored students through full-cycle UX research projects while cultivating a user-centric mindset across the organization.
Now, as Program Manager of Digital UX/UI Design at MD Anderson Cancer Center, I lead UX strategy and accessibility initiatives for the country’s top cancer healthcare institution. I’ve helped improve accessibility scores by 35%, collaborated on the integration of an AI-powered chatbot, and led data-informed design initiatives to improve patient and caregiver digital experiences.
I believe that institutions thrive when their digital systems reflect the realities and needs of the communities they serve. That belief informs everything I do — from translating user insights into product strategy, to mentoring teams, to embedding accessibility into every stage of the design process.
